The Home Tour on December 8 started out with 10 of the ďNutsĒ gathering at Penney and Marcís home in Blacklick. They had their usual (large) Dickens display on the main floor, and a completely redone North Pole display in the basement, in addition to 4 smaller displays scattered throughout the house. Not many people elected to take Marcís Village Quiz, but Leigh Wolf worked through it and managed to get the high score this year.
From Blacklick, we drove up to Pat and Clarence Thomasí in Carroll. As usual, Patís display, which is largely Dickens and Snow Village, takes over the entire house, with a vignette in every room in the house (one shown below).
The final stop on the tour was at Deborah Albertsonís in Hilliard. Deborah has some fantastic displays in specially manufactured display cases, one shown in the next column. These are in addition to her large Dickens display (with a working train).
The group ended the day with an
informal meeting, and a drawing for some of the gifts that had been acquired from our associates, and other dealers throughout the
year. As usual, great food was provided at every stop, and everyone ended the day filled and contented. Many thanks to all the people who opened up their homes for the tour. More pictures can bee seen here.
Ronald McDonald House Teardown
